Job Context
    WAVE Foundation, a national NGO working in the area of Rights & Governance, Community Finance and Livelihood & Human Resource Development sector invites application from potential candidates for the following positions for implementing the project "PRODIGY-II: Promoting Democratic Inclusion and Governance through Youth (Phase II)" supported by British Council. PRODIGY-II will empower youth leaders in Bangladesh with advanced knowledge of principles of transparency, accountability, inclusivity, non-violent civic participation, pluralism and freedom of expression to enable them to promote democratic inclusion, social cohesion and peace building in their own communities. The project will build the capacity of young people from rural and urban areas on leadership, accountability, transparency and inclusivity; pluralism and freedom of expression. The goal of PRODIGY-II is to build on the achievements of PRODIGY and scale up the project in a sustainable way.
Job Description / Responsibility
  • Planning and designing the project documents in line with donor and organization's policy
  • Work as Facilitator to deliver all key components of capacity building strand of the project
  • Play lead role in completing baseline survey and formation of inclusive youth group at project locations
  • To assist and supervising the performance of youth members.
  • To contact with community youth leaders, stakeholders and local government representatives.
  • To develop new concepts and guidelines for the existing and future program
  • To organize and conducting stakeholders meeting and youth groups meeting at project area
  • To organize and conducting training
  • Support youth groups to formulate social action projects and work as mentor throughout the project for the successful implementation of social action projects
  • To regularly monitor and oversee on social action projects
  • To assist preparing monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports

    • 2 to 3 years' experience in relevant field. Good computer operation skill in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet. Educational qualification may be relaxed for the more experienced candidates.

  • Tk. 18166
  • Tk. 18,166 per month (Consolidated - including travel and communication allowance)
